Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Tuğba Akın Telli

Assoc. Prof. Tugba Akın Telli, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, with a clinical practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult cancers. Her approach combines internationally informed, evidence-based medicine with individualized care designed around each patient's diagnosis, treatment goals, and overall well-being.

Dr. Akın Telli completed her medical degree at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, followed by internal medicine training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and a medical oncology fellowship at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. She further developed her expertise at several of the world's leading cancer institutions, including the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States, Bellvitge University Hospital in Barcelona, and the Institut Jules Bordet in Brussels, where she undertook clinical research in gastrointestinal oncology.

Her clinical focus encompasses a wide spectrum of solid and hematologic malignancies, including gastrointestinal cancers (colorectal, gastric, and liver), soft tissue sarcomas, breast cancer, gynecologic tumors, neuroendocrine tumors, and lymphoma. In addition to her clinical work, she is an active contributor to the medical literature, with more than 60 publications in international peer-reviewed journals — research that keeps her practice aligned with the latest advances and enables her to offer patients current, evidence-based treatment options.

Fluent in English, German, and Turkish, Dr. Akın Telli is able to communicate directly with patients from around the world, supporting them through every stage of their care — from initial consultation and second opinion to the development of a comprehensive treatment plan.
